PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Offered in both the fall and the spring, our 8-week G6 program is for players in 5th and 6th grades. G6 has boys' teams and girls' teams. G6 has two practices per week and a game on Saturdays. Home games are played in Gloucester; away games are played in other Essex County communities. Practice days and times are at the discretion of the cocach. 

FALL SEASON 2021

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 19, 2021

LATE REGISTRATION: Late registrations will be accepted beginning July 20 and will be assessed a late fee. Late registration does NOT guarantee team placement.

REGISTRATION FEE: If you are unable to pay the full registration fee when you register, please pay what you can. You can make additional payments at your convenience by logging into our website and clicking on the "My Account" link in the top righthand corner of the screen. Any balance due will be payable on August 11.

PLAYER PHOTO: A current headshot photo (like the one on a driver's license) is required for all G6 Players. You'll have the opportunity to upload one when you register.  

FALL SEASON DATES: September 11 through November 6 (tentative)

HOME GAMES: Magnolia Woods Upper Fields, 474 Western Avenue, Gloucester.

AWAY GAMES: In other Essex County communities.

GAME DURATION: G6 games consist of two 30-minute halves and a 5-minute halftime.

UNIFORMS: Players wear maroon uniforms with jersey numbers assigned by FYS. We'll send you an email about uniforms closer to the beginning of the season. A full FYS uniform kit (jersey, shorts, and socks) costs $26.95, plus $7.95 for shipping.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 

• Soccer cleats 
• Shin guards
• Soccer socks
• A #5 soccer ball
• A water bottle labeled with your child's name
• No jewelry
